Over 20 years ago, when wedding video was sappy commercial music, lots of slow motion and  little to no live sound, we (Jack & Naomi) started GENERATIONS cinema•stories (originally, “Generations video stories”) with a commitment to using a documentary approach, with lots of live sound, in our wedding videos. We were among the first wedding videographers to do that, and in all these years, our use of live sound has set us apart, and has won us Best of Boston in 2008, and quite a few event/wedding industry awards over the years

.

We like to invite the couple, their family and friends, to provide the viewer a bit of background to the wedding day. I mean, the wedding didn’t just happen out of nowhere, and the love story of every couple is a one-of-a-kind romance.

We also think it might be a fun idea for a couple to use their Love Story Video as Save the Date or a wedding invitation. There are lots of possibilities as to how a couple might use and repurpose video … just ask us!

We’ve started trends, and are always open to new ideas. We want to get to know our couples, so that their wedding video will express them, their day, their love and the cast of characters who are important to them.

In order for us to do that, we limit our wedding bookings to 10 weddings a year.
